About Us

We are mental health professional service providers within Manitoban communities who partner with local organizations, schools and medical clinics to minimize barriers using a strengths-based, person-centered approach. Founded by a Social Worker and a Psychiatric Nurse in Winnipeg Manitoba, Know More Counselling LTD. aims to provide a holistic model of care including (but not limited to) the following: mental health assessments, individual care planning, system navigation, medication education, professional advocacy and student support.
Know More Counselling LTD. gives individuals the opportunity to build their capacity by fostering confidence and competence in clients from diverse walks of life. Know More Counselling LTD. honours Treaty Status and works alongside several insurance companies and benefits such as Manitoba Blue Cross, Veterans Affairs Canada, The WCB (Worker's Compensation Board of Manitoba), MMIWG (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls) initiative and 2SLGBTQIA+ initiative among others, to provide coverage for services in the most accessible way possible.
